Circa 1900 - Before WWI town was Akkerman (Аккерман), District Akkerman, Province Bessarabia, Country Russian Empire.
Circa 1930 -Between the wars town was Cetatea Albă, District Cetatea Albă, Province Basarabia, Country Romania.
Circa 1950 - After WWII town was Belgorod Dnestrovskiy, Country Soviet Union.
Today (circa 2008) town is Bilhorod-Dnistrovs'kyy or Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi or Belgorod Dnestrovskiy, (Ukrainian: Білгород-Дністровський), Country Ukraine.
